Shannon Peterson~

Shannon began learning piano at the age of five. She has taken lessons from Hannah Warner growing up and was so inspired by what Hannah did, that she realized she wished to follow a similar career path.
She has always enjoyed teaching piano to her friends and family for fun and is excited to help others to become acquainted with making music and the rewards that come with it.
Shannon spent timel volunteering at a facility specializing in physical, occupational, and speech therapy for children. Several years ago, shortly after high school and while she was a college student, Shannon was mentored by Hannah and trained into becoming our primary preschool teacher, as well as specializing in starting our littlest beginners in private lessons. Due to her highly successful students, she is a widely sought after teacher in our studio and it is hard to get a spot in her schedule. She is a joy and a soft-spoken encourager, and her students love to walk into her studio each week.

She is currently a college student taking classes that include child development as well as a wide variety of music techniques classes, pedagogy, vocal studies, piano, and high level performance. Shannon is trained extensively in the Musikgarten program and curriculum as well.
Aside from music, Shannon loves to read and is passionate about traveling and exploring the outdoors.
