Piano & Flute
Vicki is our piano and flute teacher here at Temecula Music Teacher. She has been a resident of Temecula for 29 years!
With a Bachelor of Music Degree from Biola University, she studied both piano and flute and was involved in many ensembles through the years. She has been involved in both church music and community music events in the Temecula Valley, and has been teaching for 20+ years. She traveled the country performing music with the Continental Singers, and also had experience in Valley Winds.
Vicki is a homeschool mom of 4 children who are now grown, wonderful adults. She believes that through homeschooling, she was able to enrich her families lives with a lot of music theater and travel. She believes in creative learning, and has years of different curriculum experience. Vicki's homeschool experience has broadened her horizons with meeting so many people, having countless opportunities and access to many different teaching philosophies.
Vicki is a very thourough teacher who thrives on using classical curriculum, and teaches well rounded theory to her students. She is soft-spoken, patient, and very encouraging. Vicki's stuedents enjoy coming to lessons each week, and learn how to play music that has depth and dynamic quality as well as awesome technique.
Vicki is also very active in our community as a volunteer for Birth Choice, a mentor for young moms at her church, and hosting many community events at their De Luz home.
Vicki and her husband, an 8th grade science teacher of 20+ years at Temecula Middle School, enjoy traveling and spending time with their growing family of 4 children. 3 children are married and have given them 3 grandsons so far, and 1 daughter is a missionary in Africa.
