Here is a sample of our system of progress reports here at Temecula Music Teacher.  Below is a sample of a Level 1 Piano Student's progress report. We assess all of our students twice a year, in the weeks following our recitals in December and May, in order for our teachers to be sure they are hitting all benchmarks, and for parents to be actively involved and informed as to what our goals with your students are.

Each report shows what techniques, skills, and practice habits your student is working on, based on what level they are. Each category is marked "ST" for struggling, or "IP" for in progress, as well as "OT" for on target and "EX" for exceeding expectations.

This is a way for us to all be in communication as to what your students are learning, and where we are putting our focus as teachers. Our goal for each student is for all areas to be marked "OT" or "EX" before moving to the next level.

Enjoy looking through this sample of our educational goals and philosophy. There are 20+ different reports that we use, based on age, level, and instrument of each student! We are very proud to be the only Music Education Center in the valley offering this extent of professional involvement, keeping students, parents, teachers, and our director all in the same loop.
