Due to the uncertainty of what the federal and state orders will be regarding large gatherings into the summer months, we have decided to keep our recitals fairly on track and present them in Virtual Format!
We will be putting together multiple videos via "Private" YouTube Links. This means, we will be producing several recital videos of student performances, complete with introductions and kudos to students. These videos will not be publicly searchable on YouTube, but rather will be available to our students who have the specific link for access.
In order to participate, you will need to do the following:
1. Learn and MEMORIZE your piece to your teacher's standards.
2. Make a video of your student, dressed up in performance attire. (Please video them with the full screen option, meaning tip your phone/video sideways, not up/down)
3. Email the video to us at firstname.lastname@example.org anytime BEFORE May 24th. (So we get a few extra weeks to prepare!)
4. We will release videos as they are finished, and will enable commenting in order to give great reviews of student performances from other students and their families, as well as kudos and virtual applause!
This is not a requirement, but rather an opportunity to showcase our students' hard work and accomplishments.
We will also be posting "Watch Parties" On Facebook for the different recitals, in order for our families to watch them together and comment in real time!
Thank you for flexing with our constantly changing format at this time. We hope you and your family are finding the positive in these difficult days.
