Ashley Perkins ~
Piano, Voice, Guitar and Ukulele
Ashley's background of being raised in the homeschool and charter school community in and around the Temecula Valley has been a huge benefit to her work here at Temecula Music Teacher. She connects on many levels with her students, and understands the rigor and balance it takes to be a successful homeschool student.
She studied both Music and Humanities in college and is currently continuing her collegiate education in Art studies.
As a music major in college, she emphasized in piano. She also was well versed in her chamber music and jazz ensemble studies, along with music theory and musicianship. She studied studio recording, guitar, choir and has been part of several choirs from church to university level.
Ashley has been teaching piano, guitar, and voice since she was 16 years old, and became a more refined teacher while pursuing her music degree, teaching on her own for several years, and now landing at our Temecula Music Teacher studio.
She is an "in-demand" teacher with a jam-packed schedule as students love her positive energy, encouragement, and her challenging approach to teaching students well-rounded music theory and note reading, alongside their favorite pieces.
Ashley enjoys playing piano, guitar, violin, ukulele and singing. She loves art and enjoys using lots of mediums, as well as teaching art. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her new baby, Sam, as well as her two dogs. She is due with her second baby in October 2018!
